We Raise the Resources.
Teen Cancer America Puts Them to Work.
Teenage Cancer Foundation and Teen Cancer America are independent, separately governed, nonprofit organizations united by a shared mission. Funds raised through TCF are directed to Teen Cancer America in support of approved programs and projects developed with hospital partners.
ONE MISSION. THREE DISTINCT ROLES.
TEENAGE CANCER FOUNDATION
Raises funds and builds American partnerships.
TEEN CANCER AMERICA
Raises funds and builds American partnerships.
HOSPITAL PARTNERS
Deliver care, services, and support to patients and families.
One of the world's greatest performers could have spent his life collecting awards and filling stadiums.
Instead, Sir Roger Daltrey chose to dedicate decades of his life to ensuring that teenagers and young adults facing cancer receive the care, support, and dignity they deserve.
His work through Teen Cancer Trust in the United Kingdom and Teen Cancer America in the United States has transformed the lives of countless young people and their families.

The Forgotten Cancer Patient

Every year, thousands of adolescents and young adults face a cancer diagnosis during one of the most important stages of their lives.
They are often too old for pediatric programs and too young for traditional adult oncology care.
Yet they face challenges that extend far beyond treatment.
Cancer interrupts: School, Friendships, Sports, Music, College, Careers, Mental health and Family life.
These young people deserve care designed specifically for their stage of life.
The Teenage Cancer Foundation exists to ensure they are never overlooked and never forgotten.

Building on a Proven Foundation
For more than a decade, Teen Cancer America has worked alongside many of America's leading hospitals to improve care for adolescents and young adults facing cancer.
Together, these partnerships have helped create specialized spaces, programs and support services designed specifically for young people navigating cancer.
Today, these efforts extend across an extraordinary network of nationally recognized institutions, including Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson Cancer Center, UCLA Health, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, University of Michigan Health and many others.
The Teenage Cancer Foundation was established to help expand awareness, fundraising and community support for this important mission.

Teen Zones: More Than a Room
Teen Zones and dedicated AYA lounges give teenagers and young adults a place inside the hospital where they can step away from the clinical environment, connect with people their own age, recharge, and feel like themselves during treatment.
That sense of connection matters. Cancer can isolate young people from friends, school, work and the milestones that shape early adulthood. The spaces and programs built around them can reduce isolation, strengthen mental health, support peer connection, and restore a measure of normal life.
Funds raised through the Teenage Cancer Foundation support Teen Cancer America-approved programs and projects developed with hospital partners. These may include Teen Zones and other dedicated AYA spaces, counseling, peer support, patient navigation and survivorship services.

The Lounge at Memorial Sloan Kettering gives teenagers and young adults a dedicated place to connect, recharge and feel less alone during cancer treatment.
Why It Matters
For teenagers and young adults, cancer interrupts far more than health.
It interrupts education. Sports. Music. Friendships. Graduation College. Careers. Mental health. Family life.
The Foundation works to ensure that every young person receives the support they need not only to survive cancer, but to continue living their lives with hope, dignity and opportunity.

OUR MISSION
The Teenage Cancer Foundation mobilizes resources and strategic partnerships to expand life-changing care for adolescents and young adults with cancer, delivering essential physical and mental health support to a group too often overlooked and forgotten.

FROM YOUR GIFT TO THEIR CARE
For teenagers and young adults, cancer can interrupt school, work, relationships, independence, and every part of becoming an adult. Anxiety, depression, isolation and fear do not sit outside the diagnosis; they are part of the experience.
Teen Cancer America works with hospital partners to strengthen age-appropriate support that may include counseling, peer connection, social work, patient navigation, and spaces where young people can meet others who understand what they are facing.
The Teenage Cancer Foundation raises resources and builds partnerships to help Teen Cancer America and its hospital partners support the whole person - physically, emotionally, and socially.
